The Pallotti Movie Fest
People love movies. The movie business is proof that a good movie can make a huge impact on both society and individuals. That’s also true for classrooms. Movies can make learning great .It acts as a reward, a break from the daily grind. When a teacher make a point of planning interactive, purposeful activities that tie into a movie it feels great about what students are learning. The vision behind the fest was imparting education in creative fields to budding artists who are looking for platforms to polish their skills and showcase their talents.
To bring these objectives in function Department of Education of St. Vincent Pallotti College organized movie making fest on 22nd Nov 2019 .to convey social message ,to bring awareness to issues prevailing in the present society. Students from different departments gave their effective participation. There were 10 movies in total from students of various departments on different genre like drama, comedy, documentary etc. The films were on different themes like mobile mania, importance of teachers’ motivation, Mensuration, Value of disability etc.
The movie making fest was the premier outlet for the next generation of filmmakers.
